If we are already virgin customers, will we get discounts for using Virgin Energy?

As I do not mind switching!

Hi, I am not a customer but am hoping you can help me with my enquiry please? Over the last 18months three of my children relocated to the same town, they live at different addresses but all live in a house in multiple occupation and all have pre payment meters. The agents for the landlord (same landlord for all 3) all of them complained to me about the high cost of their electricity so I advised them to look for another company etc, what they told me has really got me worried. When they each collected their keys from the agency they were given a payment card and told them that had to use those cards only, they refused to give meter readings to one of my children saying that wasn’t their dept and my son asked which company supplied his energy and they said they didn’t know and he would have to ask the landlord also they can only buy a top up from them. Please can you tell me if this is allowed by energy companies?

    Thank you for your time.
